| Art requirements In order for us to meet your deadline, price and quality requirements, please be sure that you meet the following requirements when submitting artwork and digital files. Layout - You must provide a layout of your finished product to avoid artwork charges. The layout helps us to detect many common errors with fonts, images and other items that can be interpreted differently, vary from written description or from computer to computer. Please indicate all information that is necessary to help us product the product correctly. Include easily identifiable color call outs (please refer to our downloadable workbook for the color swatch page), extensions, crop marks and any changes between the actual file and the submitted layout. Any scale is acceptable for your layout but please make sure the image is in the correct proportions. Media - Email, CD, DVD (preferred delivery is by email) Software - Adobe Illustrator or other vector programs such as Freehand File Types - All files must be provided in a vector format to avoid art charges. Please make sure that your file is saved in an editable format in case changes are needed. Fonts - Convert all fonts to outlines, paths or curves, Remember to unlock all elements and select all before converting. In applications that can not convert fonts, be sure to include both the screen and printer fonts for all text used in the native file and any support files. Missing suppo9rt files and fonts is the number one cause of delays and additional artwork charges. Color - All colors should be chosen from our color swatch page. Please make sure to label all colors to be used so that there will be no confusion. Color Reference Swatches - For a small fee, we can send you sample color swatches of our fabrics via mail. Epilogue - Before sending your file, take the time to reopen it. Close all fonts on your computer system and try to open the file. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
